Puffed sleeves have become the latest trend of the season and it looks like it’s not going away anytime soon. So I naturally feel the need to create a dress for our little 18 inch dolls that focused mainly on the puff sleeve trend. I called this the Hyacinth Dress. The Hyacinth Dress has a square neckline with 3/4 puff sleeves and gathered bodice. It has an A-line shaped skirt with ruffles and belt to complete the look. Dress B is a variation which has an off shoulder style, same bodice and A-line skirt accented with trim.

The Hyacinth Dress is a beautiful and fun pattern with so many options for creativity and styling. Here are some examples.

This is a tropical-looking dress made of green-floral fabric and accented with blue trim to match the same color on the print. I chose the off shoulder style for this dress and use gold floral shape buckle for the belt. To complete the look, I paired it with white pointy shoes and white socks. This dress was actually inspired by a dress work by Kendall-Jenner.

This Hyacinth Dress on Grace was made using a lace and floral fabric. The bodice was made mainly with lace fabric but since the strap is a separate pattern, I was able to use the floral fabric for it, creating a more interesting style. I chose not to make a belt and paired it with a white espadrille for a more casual look.

This black floral Hyacinth Dress on Blaire is one of my favorites because of its very trendy and modern look. I used the same floral print all throughout and chose a bigger buckle for the belt as a focal point of the design. The gladiator sandals which goes all the way up to the knee makes the outfit very feminine and stylish.
