The Cattleya Skirt and Top pattern offers lots of options to create a fun, chic and trendy look.  From gingham to florals and subtle solids, the pattern allows you to experiment with a variety of fabrics.

Channel your inner designer and explore different textures, colors, and patterns to create a skirt outfit that reflect your doll's style. 

Style A has a box pleated skirt which is a type of pleating made up of two pleats facing away from each other. The top is a cropped cami with ready-made trims for the straps.

Style B has a knife pleated skirt which is a type of pleating wherein the pleats are folded in one direction. It is commonly referred to as a tennis skirt. The cropped cami has a waistband accent and shorter length.

Both skirts have no actual pattern, just measurements. The tops are cami style with thin straps, cropped length and are fully lined.

FABRIC AND NOTIONS:

•  ¼” yard woven fabric for the pleated skirt - lightweight to medium weight fabrics such twill and quilting cotton
• 1/8” yard for the cropped cami such as lightweight quilting cotton
• 1/8” yard thin lining fabric for the top such as broadcloth, poplin, poly lining
• ¼” wide x 6” long ready made trim (optional)
• Fabric pencil or marker
• Hook and loop tape or snaps
• Ruler
• Matching thread

The sewing pattern is made to fit 18" Dolls such as American Girl®, Our Generation Dolls and other similar size dolls.
